The Suib Group is a multidisciplinary lab that deals with the fields of Inorganic, Organic, Environmental, and Analytical Chemistry and their applications towards Materials Science. We have labs and instruments spread throughout the University of Connecticut in the Department of Chemistry, Institute of Materials Science, and the Innovation Partnership Building. Our work focuses on the synthesis of a wide variety of materials from highly ordered to amorphous mesoporous oxides which can be utilized in catalysis and batteries to ceramic carbides and nitrides which are heavily utilized in the aerospace industries.
